In The Dark S1 E8

Andre had refused all plea to help with certain issues around the area after the wipe out of the Clef clan. Mary his sidekick was happy to be home and was already carried away with the thrill of the action. Henry and Jude were always the do gooders so clearly that wasn't his circle. He had to find a way to deal with his loneliness. It was boring staying at home anyway. A brilliant idea came across his mind and it wasn't just going to be brilliant for himself, the girls were going to love it. He crossed the hall for his father's office. He got into his dad's office but didn't see him though he could feel his presence.
“Father, I've come to ask your permission to take a few days off with the girls.”
There was a breeze like move behind him and he heard Lord Han say, “How many days off?”
“Can't specify but it's not up to a week,” Andre said and turned to meet his father stare.
“Okay. Granted. As for the girls, I won't do you the honor of telling them about your trip
Do that yourself.”
“Thanks father.”.
Andre walked to the girls room and opened the door only to meet them fighting or practicing or whatever this was, but with real swords.
“Ladies, what's this?” Andre asked waving his right index finger from side to side.
“Helen said she could best me in a real fight, I'm just trying to show her that I'm superior.”
“Ha. Right. Anyway, keep the swords down and listen what I have to say.”
They stopped the play and listened to what Andre had to say.
“I want you girls to join me on vacation for a few days in the woods, we'll have lots of fun. Swimming, fruitcakes, you name it.”
The girls had began to smile and agreed to go with Andre by giving him a nod.
“Pack up while I go inform mother.”
He left the room of the twin and headed for his mum's room. He met Mercy leaning against his mother's door half-awake, half-sleeping. Mercy was one of the Fairies in the Walker mansion. She never took her job seriously but never failed in it either.
“Mercy, what are you doing here?”
“Mother said not to let anyone in.”
“She did?”
Mercy nodded tiredly.
“Why don't you go get some rest, you're tired.”
“I'm fine.”
“Well, I need to inform my mother on something important so move.”
Mercy shook her head but did look at him.
Andre ignored her and tried to open the door, in a flash, Mercy froze him on the spot and sent him flying backwards into the corridor. Andre stood up and stared at Mercy who was still battling with sleep and said, “I'll kill you.”
Mercy blew him a kiss and faced down, he charged at her again and this time, she froze him and kept him upside down in mid air. The twin approached and saw the drama and were about coming at Mercy and she froze them on the spot too. Juliet Walker opened her door and met the whole drama.
“Mercy?”
“Insubordination mother. Children refused to heed warning.”
Juliet motioned for Mercy to release them. Mercy unfroze them and deliberately let Andre slide like a paper to the floor.
“What is it Andre?”
“I'll be taking the girls on a few days trips in the...”
“Finally, please, make sure they have loads of fun.”
Juliet went on one knee and hugged the girls as she said, “Take care my lovelies.”
“We will mother.”
She released them and watched them go with Andre.
